A few days ago, I was looking for clips on youtube to use in class. I found a Simpsons episode that looked good and I got a sudden flashback to the first time I watched that episode. At the time, I didn't really know who Michael Jackson was and I remember knowing I was missing out on something because of that, but I still watched the episode with enjoyment anyway. How does one become a teenager in the 2000s and not really know who Michael Jackson is?

I remember reading that 선배님 went to a tough primary school where she and her mates used to pile their money together to read comics books and I wondered where she lived that you could go to a shop and buy comics books although I do remember reading the Footrot Flats comics that my mum pulled out of somewhere (the garage, probably) that she had acquired from somewhere (a garage sale, probably).
