Apr. 9th, 2019 10:14 amToday is one of those bright, blue days when the weather is autumnally cool and fresh. I'm wearing a tracksuit and socks with a blanket over my legs. These are some of my favourite days (every day is my favourite day). Outside I hear a ride-on mower or a power blower or a street sweeper. I remember being fascinated by street sweepers as a kid.
I remember, the first time I went to Korea when it was winter, I would call people back in Australia from a payphone using a calling card. I talked to them in the afternoon, but as soon as the sun began to set, I had to hang up because it got too cold. I think it's interesting that nowadays, if you have a smartphone, you can call anyone who lives anywhere from the comfort of any place you like.
