I've just come back in from being outside. It is overcast tonight. Usually on an overcast night, I would feel sad that I couldn't see the stars. But tonight, I tried to find beautiful things. The clouds had a little bit of texture. There was no wind, so the leaves were still. It was a cool, pleasant summer's end night. My toes went cold, but my body stayed warm. In spite of the clouds and the light pollution, the craters on the moon were visible. I saw Orion, the Big Dog, and the Twins.
